Flat Rock has developed a new WordPress plugin that adds a widget displaying the YouTube subscribe box in the sidebar of WordPress websites.
Plugin Functionality
This widget displays a YouTube Subscribe button in the frontend and the number of subscribers and videos in the sidebar.
When configuring the widget the user specifies his YouTube username in the backend. The widget’s width, height and title can be changed. The title could be linked to the user’s YouTube profile directly.
So far the plugin has had more than 300 downloads within the first 2 weeks.
How to install the Plugin:
The plugin installation is a very easy and user friendly process. Just follow these four simple steps:
1. Download youtube-subscribe-widget.zip from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/youtube-subscribe-widget/.
2. Extract and upload youtube-subscribe.zip to the wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Enable YouTube Subscribe Widget in the Plugin admin panel.
4. In the widget admin panel: drag the widget to the sidebar and then edit options – enter the YouTube username and title.
